Villa Las Glorias is a spacious 5 BR/4½BA home located right on Cozumel's San Francisco Beach Complete with beachside patios, balconies, and a pool with a patio. This villa is nestled between Villa Dos and Villa Alegria. You can walk for miles on beautiful, soft, white sand lapped by turquoise Caribbean water

There is a long grand entrance driveway to bring you to the house itself. At the entrance, there is a guard house where the staff live. There is a palapa-covered parking area big enough for two cars.

The entrance of the house greets you with a natural river-rock lined water fountain.

The patio area is above the white sand beach by about eight feet and gives you the advantages of the beach plus an ocean view. There is a wooden bridge that takes you down to the ocean level and a natural trail that leads through the privacy screen of trees that run parallel to the shore line.

On the north side of the pool area, there is a wooden deck covered with a palapa and long planter filled with beautiful tropical plants.

The home is very warm and luxurious. The unique tile work and natural elements like raw wood achieve a unique, beautiful style. The sunken living area is in the center of the house. The dining room is raised and overlooks the pool area towards the beach, and has no wall to separate it from the living area. The dining room table can accommodate 8 guests The kitchen sits back on the other side of the dining room. A breakfast bar in the adjacent kitchen can accommodate another 4 guests. There is also a double futon bed in this area.

 

There 2 bedrooms on this floor. The first bedroom with two double beds overlooks the long winding road that leads to the entrance of the house. It has its own bathroom. This bedroom enjoys its own private patio area accented by the natural rock filled fountain in the entrance of the house.

The second bedroom on this floor is a study. It has sea views and access to the pool area through sliding glass doors. It has a queen sized bed and is served by a half bath off the hallway.

The upstairs has three bedrooms, one with queen-size and the other two with king-size beds.

The master bedroom has a huge bathroom with double sinks in the center of the room and large outside double shower. The designer used beautiful hand-painted tiles as well as modern tiles

The second bedroom with king sized bed overlooks the jungle. It has its own private bathroom and balcony overlooking the jungle.

The 3rd bedroom has a queen sized bed, sea views and a balcony. It also has its own private bathroom.

There are rustic-style cabinets throughout the house made from mahogany wood frames inlaid with native wooden sticks. One of Cozumel´s finest artists, Galo, was commissioned to provide the artwork throughout the house. The interior designer chose many Maya and Mexican pieces as well to accent the mood and style of the house.

The architect has incorporated the roof to provide a deck area perfect for viewing the breathtaking sunsets. There is a rustic wooden rail to contain the roof area. This is a nice place for sunset drinks.

The jungle area separating the house from the ocean has been selectively cleared allowing you a good view of the ocean. Ornamental indigenous plants have been added to complement the natural shrubs with exotic tropical lushness.

The beach clubs along this shore line are open to the public and offer many water sports. The most famous of these beach clubs is the San Francisco Beach Club, just about 100 meters south of the house. They offer jet ski rentals, row boats, and exotic tropical drinks. They welcome guests.
